Calder Quartet
The Calder Quartet premiere a new work by the winner of the 2008 Carlsbad Music Festival Composers Competition, Fabian Svensson of Sweden. Svensson was chosen for this commission amongst 100 applicants from around the world. Also on the program is California composer, Terry Rileys Mythic Bird Waltz, and Fred Friths Lelekovice. Pre-concert talk with Calder Quartet and Fabian Svensson at 7pm
