Up the Creek: A new radio comedy by Danielle Juzan
A Fundraiser for the Crescent Theater Tuesday, July 23, 2013 7:00 p.m. World Premier of Up the Creek
A new radio comedy by Danielle Juzan The cast of Cable Channel Six in fictional Secacah, Alabama is back once again to broadcast the hilarious happenings involving the town's newest tourist attrac- tion, a tour boat named, most inappropriately, the Snow Queen. On its maiden voyage, someone sabotages the vessel, stranding the television hosts and Seca- cah's wacky cast of characters. But who would want to leave the townspeople on a sinking ship...and why!?
Voice actors, live sound effects and plenty of audience participation will create a unique evening of fun. Be ready to be part of the action!
The cast of outstanding local actors includes: Barry Siverman, Stacey Driskell, John Nodar, Jeff Deen, Teresa Ashcraft, Ivan Davidson, Victoria Johnson and Cannon Tucker. Sound effects by Christopher Hill and Barney March Music by Scott Morlock Production by Dianne Martin
Tickets are $50/person and include a reception after the play. All proceeds benefit the Crescent Theater Film Society. Contact Carol Hunter at chunter@downtownmobile.org or 251-434-8498 for more information.
