ROLLER DERBY DOUBLE HEADER TO BENEFIT NON PROFIT ORGANIZATION, PETS & PEOPLE
Your Oklahoma Victory Dolls' A & B teams will be taking on the ladies of Springfield Rollergirls. The Victory Dolls are on a roll this season!
The All Star Squad will bout first with Springfield and are hoping to bring in another win! The Springfield/OKC record is 2-1, in favor of your Victory Dolls. Then the OKVD Battle Squad will be battling it out with Springfield's Battle Broads. OKVD Battle Squad is undefeated for 2013! Will they continue the streak? If you missed last month's wins, witness the action July 27th!
Bout day is Saturday, July 27, 2013, Centennial Building at the OK State Fairgrounds, 333 Gordon Cooper Street, Oklahoma City, OK. Doors open at 5 pm, action starts at 6!
A portion of the bout proceeds will benefit the Pets and People Humane Society. Pets and People rescues adoptable cats and dogs from municipal animal control facilities across the state of Oklahoma on the day they are to be euthanized. They provide a safe harbor for pets until they find loving homes.
Tickets are $10 in advance and are available at OKC and Norman Guestroom Records locations (guestroom-records.com), Skate Galaxy OKC (skategalaxyokc.com) or online here at http://okvdjuly.brownpapertickets.com/, and at Switchblade Skate Company. Tickets are $15 at the door. Kids under 12 get in FREE with a paid adult.
Beer can be purchased with a valid ID. Seating is available on a first come first serve basis and you are welcome to bring your own chair.
