Comedy on Elm Street with Harrison Stebbins, Kelly MacFarland, Joe Espinola, and Liam McGuirk
Elm Draught House Cinema brings in another great lineup of comedians: Kelly MacFarland, Harrison Stebbins, Joe Espinola and Liam McGuirk on April 27 at 9:30 p.m.
The show is presented by Scamps Comedy (ScampsComedy.com) and tickets are $15 in advance, $18 at the door on show night.
Kelly MacFarland has an extensive resume including comedy clubs, theaters, colleges and multiple television appearances including Last Comic Standing, Comedy Central, The Today Show, Cartoon Network and the TV Guide Channels Stand up in Stilettos showcasing the top female comedians in the country. She has been a featured keynote speaker for the American Heart Association GO Red for Women campaign for over ten years.
Harrison Stebbins returns to the Elm bringing high-energy comedy and clever insight that has scored big with the audience on his two previous appearances. In addition to Millbury, hes performed in some of the worlds best comedy clubs including Carolines Comedy Club, Gotham Comedy Club, and The Comedy Connection in Boston, where his Wednesday night show became the stuff of legend in the Boston comedy community. He has performed on the Comedy Central Live Tour, Dave Attels Insomniac Tour (featured on Comedy Central), and The Comcast Comedy Spotlight.
Boston comedian Liam McGurk is known for his laid-back demeanor and cerebral, creative material. He hosts a weekly show in Boston, and has performed at Thunderfest, the Cape Fear Comedy Festival and Rogue Island Comedy Festival. Hes a former Comic-in-Residence at The Comedy Studio in Somerville, and a favorite in Boston showcases. He describes himself as a gentle man with the temperament of a small purebred dog. That is, hes initially standoffish due to anxiety, but warms up once hes been fed and petted.
Joe Espinola is an established name on the Boston scene, working regularly at Giggles and Kowloon, as well as fund-raisers and one-nighters around New England. Hes performed at theaters such as The Cabot in Beverly, the Black Box Theater in Peabody, and Amazing Things Arts Center in Framingham. Sly and engaging, his good-hearted sarcasm and droll point-of-view has earned him fans from Boston to Bangor. Hes worked with top comedians including Steve Sweeney, Lenny Clarke, Patty Ross and Paul DAngelo.
