Motown to Def Jam: An Art Gallery Stroll
WHAT:
Join us for ArtCrawl Harlem's 5th anniversary with a special tour of Motown to Def Jam. This art exhibition celebrates African-American Music Appreciation Month, highlighting socially conscious music created by recording artists from Chess Records, Stax Records, Motown, Philadelphia International Records and Def Jam. We will tour four galleries in Harlem featuring the works of visual artists paying tribute to the music of Muddy Waters, The Staple Singers, Diana Ross & the Supremes, The O'Jays, Public Enemy and more.
