Jason Wilber and Chris O'Brien
Get to know two nationally recognized rising talents in one show.
If a concert featured the lead guitarists for John Prine, Hal Ketchum, Greg Brown, Todd Snider, and Iris DeMent, wouldnt you want to be there?
What if a single guitarist had done the job for all of these stellar acts and recorded five CDs of his own? Meet that man, Jason Wilber.
Wilbers original songs breathe insightful commentary and run from mellow to lively with a dash of country. His sound brings to mind Prine, Paul Simon, and Randy Newman, among others. Not to be missed!
About the CD King For A Day: This is a thoroughly enjoyable record from a fine songwriter. If you havent already listened to this recording, I suggest you do so immediately. John Prine

Massachusetts native Chris OBrien released his first album, Lighthouse, in early 2007 to much critical and audience acclaim. In fact, 2007 was a banner year for the 28-year old singer-songwriter. He was named one of Falcon Ridge Folk Festivals Emerging Artists, was a finalist in the Mountain Stage song competition, and performed on A Prairie Home Companions People in their Twenties talent contest.
So far OBriens 2008 tour has taken him across the country, from California, to Oregon and Washington, and back to his beloved Club Passim in Boston.
He has already shared the stage with such Six String favorites as David Wilcox, Ellis Paul, Vance Gilbert, and Mark Erelli. Join us in welcoming him for his first performance with Six String Concerts.
If youre going through a breakup, or just in need of cheering up, let Lighthouse guide your heart out of darkness. - Performing Songwriter Magazine
