Summer Member Event
Jul 25
Free event for Film Forum members!
Thursday, Jul 25 at 06:30PM
On July 25, Film Forum members can join us for open bar, mingling with other film lovers and a rare screening of Federico Fellini's final film, The Voice of the Moon, which was never released in the United States (we're showing it in sparkling 35mm).
The party is free and open to Film Forum members.
About the film "If things were a little quieter, we might understand something," observes idiot-savant hero Ivo (played by famous Italian comedian and Oscar-winner Roberto Benigni), a former mental patient who wanders through a world of strange dreams (and often stranger realities). Ivo and his compatriot Gonnella are heirs to Laurel and Hardy, as they search for the meaning of life.
* This summer we're celebrating Film Forum members with some special deals, including free popcorn, a raffle for Local Sightings film festival passes and more. Read more about Midsummer is for Members here.
