LEA DELARIA AND MAGGIE CASSELLA: THE LOUDEST SHOW ON EARTH - LIVE AT TERMINAL 110
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 10 - 7:30pm THE LOUDEST SHOW ON EARTH
The Loudest Show On Earth is an exploration of the queer urban existence as seen through the eyes of two of the queerest urbanites to exist since Eileen Warnos and Kitty Carlisle.
Lea DeLaria and Maggie Cassella met at Hartford Pride in 1988 and because they're rageful, opinionated, Italian, dyke comics, they've been yelling at each other ever since.
And so goes The Loudest Show on Earth. Rageful. Angry. Musical. Funny. And did we mention loud? Many F-bombs will be dropped. Bring the kids!
The Loudest Show on Earth Sketch, Stand-up, Swinging Jazz
About The Artists Lea DeLaria has distinguished herself in every form of entertainment that she touches. Jazz Musician, Broadway Diva, Actor Writer and Stand-Up Comic, and it is plain to see why Ben Brantley of the New York Times describes Lea as, "Every inch a star." www.delariadammit.com
Maggie Cassella is an ex-lawyer, expatriate, ex-talk show host, current events comic, writer, producer, and now "Pubaret" owner. After bailing on the US 20 years ago she moved to Canada where she has appeared, produced, and written for every major TV network including hosting her own nationally televised talk show titled "Because I Said So". Lea gave Maggie her start almost 25 years ago and will no doubt be the end of her if someone doesn't separate them some time soon. That's not true, they're actually girlfriends. Wait, no that's a lie but a common question which when posed pushes them both right to the edge so please, don't ask. www.maggiecassella.com
