Being able to talk knowledgeably to your clients about LEED or other third-party certifiers is becoming more complicated every year. Some argue that programs like LEED have become too stringent and documentation heavy, while not necessarily demonstrating sustainability targets. Some say we should be talking simply about energy and water efficiency, healthy indoor environments, waste management, or the newest buzz word, resiliency. Others will say these programs have pushed the building stock to be much more responsible to the environment. Still others argue that none of this matters if even our most sustainable buildings do not provide comfort and protection in the face of the climate challenges of our region.
All these discussions are more often based upon opinions formed from personal feelings because the "facts" remain diverse and inconclusive. How you sort through the information and opinions to form your own set of recommendations to answer your client's sustainability goals can give you a powerful advantage with your current and future clients. Non-members: $45.00*
Students (mbrs & non-mbrs): $25.00*
*$10 added to cost for Chapter Members, Non-members and Students if RSVP is received after 3:00 PM Monday, July 22nd.

CHAPTER MEMBERS: No charge will be assessed unless registering after the 3:00 PM Monday, July 22nd deadline.
NON-MEMBERS and STUDENTS: If you wish to pay by check, please send an email to admin@sandiegocsi.org and follow up with your check, made payable to "CSI San Diego," to PO Box 191307, San Diego, CA 92159-1307. Payments must be received no later than Monday, July 22nd or a $10 premium will apply.
WALK-INS accepted at the door on a "space available" basis. However, only cash or check payments will be accepted at the door (no credit cards).
CANCELLATIONS: Refunds will only be given for cancellations received before noon on Monday, July 22nd.
NO SHOWS: Payments for no-shows will be retained in full.
