Sideshow: History and Application
Sideshow: History and Application is a one hour class exploring the history and revival of the sideshow. This class primarily focuses on the working sideshow arts, skills anyone can learn. Parker South will take you through the history, death and revival of sideshow. The class culminates in the students learning to eat fire and lay on a bed of nails.
Parker South has been performing for over 5 years in various venues and rolls, swiftly mastering the Sideshow arts. He began apprenticing with a former core member of the Cut Throat Freak Show, rapidly outgrowing his teacher's tutelage to begin devising his own death defying stunts. A long time fan of history, he delved in to the sordid past of the sideshow, absorbing the meat and the meaning of the sideshow culture. An accomplished fire eater, glass eater and comfortable on a bed of nails containing as few as four nails, Parker is excited to pass on his knowledge to willing and brave students.
