2nd Night - Saturday, July 6, 2013
Theme: Beneath the Underdog, The Music of Charles Mingus
1st Set: Jay Rattman Quartet plays the music of Charlie Mingus
2nd Set: Richard Miller plays Bossa Nova feat. Susan Pereira

3rd Night - Sunday, July 7, 2013
Theme: Jazz and Beyond: The Coltrane Legacy
1st Set: Shawn Baltazor Quartet / The Navid Quartet
2nd Set: Martha Cargo Solo Flute/Shakuhachi

Each night will follow the same schedule:
First set: 8-9:45, 15 min
~Intermission~
Second set: 10 - 11:45pm

Beverages served w/ a suggested donation.
$5 Food bar.

ABOUT THE SERIES, "JAZZ @ the cell"
~Conceptually inspired by Ornette Coleman's existential quests, "The Shape of Jazz to Come" and the seminal "Tomorrow is the Question!"~

Incubated by Nancy Manocherian @ the cell - A Twenty First Century Salon in the heart of Chelsea.
