Manny Maldonado As Seen On Comedy Central and Showtime!
Manny Maldonado was born in Modesto, California. His journey to comedy wasn't planned. Maldonado's goal was to play professional football. The problem with that plan was being too damn short! After high school, he attended junior college to pursue another dream, sports broadcasting. While in college, he participated in speech debate and found his speeches were always funny and entertaining. After a few semesters, he dropped out of college to try stand up comedy.
10 years later, Maldonado is recognized as one of the hottest rising Latino comics in the country. Maldonado has worked overseas entertaining the troops in Korea and Japan, and from coast to coast in some of the best comedy clubs, colleges, and theaters in the country. He has worked with Dave Chappelle, Dave Attell, George Lopez, and many other nationally known comedians.
Maldonado's television credits include BET's Comicview, Que Locos!, Latino Laugh Festival, and Comics Unleashed. In 2007 and 2008, Maldonado was selected to perform on the Crown Royal Latin Kings of Comedy Tour with comic legend Paul Rodriguez. He recently completed shooting Paul Rodriguez & Friends: Comedy Rehab
