Divisa Ensemble presents "Beerthoven": Chamber Music in the Beer Hall
Divisa Ensemble is excited to return to one of our favorite venues: Devil's Canyon Brewing Company! This location is ideal for a family-friendly afternoon. There will be food and drink for sale, so you will be able to satiate all your senses at this relaxed afternoon concert.
The Divisa Ensemble is a classical chamber music group, known for its engaging performances and eclectic programming. The ensemble's unconventional instrumentation (flute, oboe, violin, viola, and cello) and "mix-and-match" approach allow for a wide variety of repertoire comprising all traditional and contemporary styles.
The San Jose Mercury News applauds the precision and deep musicality of this Bay Area group.
Devil's Canyon Brewing Co. will offer their sustainable brew as well as their amazing non-alcoholic root beer. Ayala Catering will be there offering fresh salsa, tacos, and more.
Featured on the musical program will be selections from some our favorite chamber works, including a trio by local composer Martin Rokeach, a duo by the prolific GP Telemann and a quartet by the superstar WA Mozart.
We hope you will join us for an afternoon of drinks, food, and good music that the whole family can enjoy!
