Social Permaculture
Taking inspiration from natural ecosystems and drawing on ideas from permaculture design, this informal gathering is a conversation about communities the diverse skills, experiences and qualities we each bring and how this can enable a healthy, sustainable culture. Join us for a pot luck feast to explore how our communities in Torbay are made up, and what we need to cultivate to enable our garden to thrive.
The roots of this conversation are based in ecology and how we can learn from natures communities to build and support our own. Discuss and explore how each of us are of value in our human ecosystem. Every one of us has strengths and skills to offer and if we link together, we can create beneficial interactions across the community.
Over a communal meal, we will exchange ideas about how communities and neighbourhoods interact - sharing thoughts on how to nourish them. Contribute to the meal by bringing some food to share.
All welcome, but most suitable for those aged 16+.
