WTS April Breakfast Program
Please join us for breakfast on Tuesday, April 2nd, Equal Pay Day, to learn more about why and how to pay equitably. Detecting and removing compensation barriers and other employee gaps is critical to attract, recruit, and retain top talent. Find out from experts in this field what the key issues are and learn practical steps to help your organization succeed in today's competitive marketplace.

Dani Carbary, Director of the 100% Talent Initiative for the Women's Funding Alliance, will address what pay equity is and best practices for achieving pay equity. 100% Talent helps employers in our region move toward gender pay equity. Ms. Carbary is an expert in brand positioning and strategy with 15 years of marketing, sales and corporate relations experience in the private sector.

Mary Lasky, MBA, Compensation Professional for PayScale, will focus on the implementation of pay equity within organizations. PayScale creates products that help employees and employers understand market pay and have more transparent conversations about compensation. Ms. Lasky recently presented on How to Pay Equitably and Create a High Performance Culture. She consults with clients of all sizes to establish base pay strategies and philosophies to foster organizational success.

Maggie Humphreys, Washington State Organizer for MomsRising and President of the National Women's Political Caucus of Washington, will provide an update on Washington state equal pay legislation and its importance to everyone in Washington.

Diana Giraldo, P.E., Project Manager at HNTB, will moderate.  



Continental breakfast and networking begins at 7 am, the program begins at 7:30 and ends at 9 am. Space is limited.
