The Mondegreens return home, toting their energetic brand of harmony-driven indie/rock, and this time have with them their first new album in three years.

The band's sophomore LP, retains the lush three-part harmonies, and wide dynamic swings of their earlier work, while exploring new synth-driven territory full of changes in key and meter.

This show provides not only an opportunity to grab a copy of the record a full month before it is released worldwide, but a rare chance to see the group team up with unmissable North-bay folksters, Rainbow Girls. Fresh off the release of their critically acclaimed covers record, Give the People What They Want, and a string of shows with Shook Twins, Rainbow Girls will open the night with their trademark lyrical mastery, haunting harmonies, and toe-tapping energy. Undoubtedly, rambunctious super-grouping will ensue, and at least one ill-advised 90s cover will find both bands trying their best to blow the roof off of The Argus.
