AARW 40th Anniversary Kick Off
Join us at Homestead Bakery to kick off the Asian American Resource Workshops 40th Anniversary year -- Rising Together: 40 Years in Community ! Our executive director Carolyn Chou and event planning committee will share about some of the powerful work that AARW is currently leading on, unveil our timeline of events and programs for the year and discuss ways that folks can plug in and support us in celebrating 40 years in community ! We are always looking for new friends to join us, so regardless of whether you have never been to an AARW event or are a longtime member, we invite you to get involved with helping us celebrate !!!!
We will have some fun, engaging activities for you to participate in including: a photobooth with some props set up to capture some cute pictures of you and your friends that well be using later on in the year (with your consent), visioning with us about where you see AARW going in the next 40 years, an art build and a small video testimonial project.
Our speaking program will begin at 6pm.
We will have tasty snacks and a cash bar!
There is no admissions fee to help us kick off our 40th year. But here are a few ways you can help us make this year a success !!
- Pitch in $10 (or more!) when you register for the kickoff to support us!
- Become a member of AARW! (You can do that at the kickoff)
- Become a monthly sustainer of our work
- Make a contribution to AARW that is meaningful to you at the event
