Disney's The Lion King KIDS
Animals gather from across the Pridelands to attend Rafiki's presentation of King Mufasa's newborn cub Simba. Mufasa explains to a young Simba as he begins to grow that one day the young lion will be king of the Pridelands. While under the guardianship of the royal advisor Zazu, Mufasa's brother Scar causes trouble for young Simba and his friend Nala when they encounter three hyenas in the Elephant Graveyard. The next day, Mufasa is pushed into a wildebeest stampede by his brother Scar, and Scar tells Simba to run away to the rain forest, allowing Scar to assume the throne. While away, Simba grows up and meets two happy go lucky creatures, Timon and Pumbaa, who teach him their worry free lifestyle. With Scar as king, the Pridelands go into ruin, and Nala is sent to search for Simba to get his help. Simba initially refuses until Rafiki appears to remind him of his father's advice from years ago. Simba's newfound courage brings him back to the Pridelands in order to save the animals and the throne. Disney's The Lion King KIDS allows children to explore the stage through a familiar story and memorable music from the classic film. Hakuna Matata and enjoy the show!
