Tell Me More: Brace yourself for a wild ride of depth comedy and autobiographical storytelling. Join us as we delight in navigating the human experience. Hearing another's story is often the most profound entry into the recognition of the bonds we share as human beings. Stories are archetypal and universal and authentic. Storytelling touches the collective spirit of humanity. Tell Me More was created by local artists and writers Janet Croteau and Laurie Guerin who both believe that the creative process is healing, transformative and funny.
Janet Croteau: Janet is the creator, producer and co-director of Tell Me More. She is a songwriter, comedian, spoken word artist and therapist. She believes in the power of authenticity and self expression and that if you water down who you are, the real people will never find you.
Stefano Engle: Stefano works as an undercover writer, painter, writer, and performer. A guarded few know his assignment at any particular time, though he has occasionally been sighted commuting on Highway 17
Serena Fennell: Serena was born and raised here in Santa Cruz and many stories to share about our unique town.
Sara MacEwan: Sara is a therapist who believes in self-expression as a path to healing and wholeness. Sara loves being on stage, talking about feelings and any joke with your Mom in the punchline.
Sun Marion: Sun believes in new beginnings and cultivates life with a deep appreciation of nature, love, and precious opportunities. She is a media mentor, digital artist, and radio star known as
Nicolette Nasr: Nicolette is the co-director of Tell Me More. She escaped from Palo Alto to find her true self in Santa Cruz where acting, writing and loving her community and family is her focus.
Henry Seltzer: Henry is a local astrologer, who invented the popular astrology software TimePassages and writes and lectures regularly. He has been researching the meanings of new planets, and has a book out on Eris called The Tenth Planet.
April Stearns: After a breast cancer diagnosis at 35, April longed to hear the stories of other young women making a life after diagnosis. In 2015 she founded WILDFIRE Magazine to be a beautiful print & digital platform for young women to tell their breast cancer stories. She has published the stories of more than 300 women and has attracted readers from all over the world.
