Hank & Ella With The Fine Country Band: This musical group is sure to get you moving on the dance floor! And maybe waltzing with your darling to one of Hank Wardes heartfelt, dreamy melodies. The band also features boogie woogie, honky tonk, and classic duets. Hank and Ella With The Fine Country Band have just released their self-titled debut album. The album is made up of 13 original, vintage-inspired songs that explore themes of Love and Loss, Dimly-Lit Honky-Tonks, Working Hard and Having a Good Time. Imagery throughout the album transports the listener back to the era when the rock and roll sound was still being created. The band puts their own stamp on this early rock and country sound by injecting unique, dreamy melodies that soar over Hank's vocal lines. The distinct chord progressions and The Diamond Sisters' harmonies push the songs into dream land. We really like the sounds that take the listener to new, uncharted places--sounds that bring up uncertain, joyful emotions.
Gerard Egan: Western Swing / Juke Box country vocalist and guitar ace of the Carolyn Sills Combo. Gerard is also a DJ on KPIG and if you ever treated yourself to the radio show he shares with Carolyn, you know how much fun you can have with vintage, traditional and timeless country music. Now you will get to treat yourself to Gerards loving take on Western Swing and good old juke box honky-tonk music.
