Arrowhead Ranch Science Camp
Arrowhead Ranch is a world-class outdoor science school, standing far above normal science camps for kids. Arrowhead Ranch is the place to be if you are interested in fun, outdoor activities, a peaceful, gorgeous setting, and places to hike and bike. We do it all, right here, at our outdoor science camp, a mile above historic Lake Arrowhead Village. Our staff is a team of professionals ready to be of service. We want to be part of the memory that makes your childs time at kids camp unforgettable.
This science camp has many fun trip activities. You can expect educational nature hikes (7 hikes, 45 min - 2 hours), nighttime astronomy hikes, Staff skit performance night, student skit night, dance night, team building activities, arts and crafts, a wildlife presentation with live animals, and much more. Get the experience of camp while learning so much!
NOTE: Parents must attend this entire trip with their students. One parent required per family.
Ages: 3rd through 12th grade students may attend. This trip is geared towards the educational level of 5th and 6th grade. They primarily focus on meeting the NGSS science standards for 5th and 6th grade. No infants or younger siblings are able to attend.

Arrival: Tuesday, May 14th @ 10:00am
Departure: Friday, May 17th @ 10:00am
Upon check in families will unload luggage and be assigned a cabin and group leader to settle in. Lunch will follow.
Sleeping Arrangements: The camp has group dorm style cabins. Each room within the dorm has 5 beds. For smaller families, 2 families will stay in each room. Reservations for the camp will be made first through BPT and when registration closes, families will be contacted to sign up for room reservations pairs. Bathrooms are down the hall from the rooms with privacy.
Food: All meals are free! The first meal wil be lunch on the on first day and the last meal will be breakfast on the last day. All meals are buffet style and there is a vegetarian option at every meal. Other accommodations can be made for dairy, gluten, etc. if the camp is notified. Families may choose to bring supplemental food and store it in the fridge/freezer if needed. This camp is nut/peanut free.
Attire: Long pants must be worn on hikes only. Close toed shoes, boots or tennis shoes, are required on hikes as well. Plan for cooler weather at night with hoodies and long sleeves. Plan for inclement weather.
Bedding: Please bring your own pillows and blankets for bedding for the twin size beds.
This is a smoke free facility.
Parking: Parking is right in front of facility and is free.
If you are using Valiant funds please select the FREE ticket and place your order in VOS within 48 hours.
Ticket orders must be placed in Brown Paper Tickets before placing the request in VOS. A confirmation number is needed in the VOS order description.

Please remember the chaperone policy:
1 enrolled student in your family attending the trip = 1 total chaperone ticket paid by funds.
2+ enrolled students in your family attending the trip = 2 total chaperone tickets paid by funds.
**Please know that you will not receive physical tickets for these events as you will be required to check in the day of at the venue with our staff member hosting it.**
**Please know that ALL field trips are final sale and cannot be refunded.**
