Nostos Collectives is proud to present "Hinterland", co-produced by DanceWorks CoWorks Series 18/19! This double bill show features two new contemporary dance works choreographed by Emily Spearing ("this is where i'll stay") & Dora-Award winning guest choreographer Naishi Wang ("Free Steps"). Both works are centred around themes of "safe spaces" - within individuals and our communities. This project is funded with help from the Toronto Arts Council.
Nostos Collectives is an autonomous group of emerging contemporary dance artists, based in Halifax & Toronto, focused on original and innovative choreography & performance.
