Festival of Women Composers - To Love This Earth
Come celebrate the Earth, the outdoors, and the joy of the natural world with chorale music written by women. Highlights include Gwyneth Walkers settings of Thoreau's writing and the world premiere of "Earth Teach Me" written just for this concert by composer Kira Rugen.
A lecture by NAU faculty Julie Hedges Brown on "Lines in the Sand: Historical Challenges to Women Making Music" precedes this concert at 6:30 p.m.

Unveiled: Women Writing for the Guitar (Thursday, April 11, 7:30 p.m., Shepherd of the Hills Lutheran Church) featuring Kathy Acosta Zavala on guitar
Hildegard: The Story of the Soul (Friday, April 12, 7:30 p.m, Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary Chapel) featuring the Arizona Mountain Chorale with staging by NAU faculty Patricia McKee.
Ticket is good for admission to all 3 concerts.
