VANESSA LEE SEGALE
-------------------------------------------
"Team No Fs!"

Is being high functioning really the best option?  Who really wins when you put effort and energy into things?

Maybe leaving your Christmas tree up until March is a sign of a real enlightenment? Maybe the person who is driving a filthy, disgusting car that looks like its been to burning man, Coachelle and back is on to something?

Who needs order and any sort of discipline when you have the option of joining a new club- Team No Fucks!

PAUL SUSSMAN
-------------------------------------------
"The Wrong Kind of Pessimism"

It's just another day at work.  Until the new guy shows up.  What's his problem?  We've been using our tool for 25,000 years and it's always been good enough.  Just because you're hairless and erect, you think you know everything?  Maybe we should try it, what's the worst that could happen...?

FRED PITTS
-------------------------------------------
"The California Missions and Race Tour"

Summer 2012. Fred is standing in the middle of a California Mission Church. He is with a docent and 3 other visitors. One is an expert on the Catholic Church. One is an expert on the plight of the Native Americans. The third is an expert on...everything else. They stare at Fred. Is his fly open? Hair mussed? They have one thing in common. They are all experts on which famous black person Fred resembles.

SARAH MATSUI
-------------------------------------------
"Hello, Boar--You Must Be Hungry"

It's 1994 in Hawaii, the water is cold, the sky is velvety black, and six-year-old Sarah is night diving with her dad. When something bright green flashes ahead, he takes off with his flashlight and spear, and leaves Sarah to fend for herself in the middle of the Pacific. Maybe later she can ask questions about family and what stories get passed down. But for now, she's focused on staying afloat.
