duquette the band consists of Rob Duquette on vocals/guitar/drums/xylophone, John Kumnick on Bass, and Jake Sturdevant on keys/vocals.
Rob Duquette is multi-instrumentalist/singer/songwriter/composer and founder and leader of the band duquette. He has made his career since the mid-1990s as a well respected and in-demand sideman, most notably as a member of Jonathan Edwards touring band. He has also regularly played with other notables like Jack Sonni(Dire Straits) and the legendary composer David Amram over the past 15 years. He gained national attention as part of the jazz-folk-pop group Cactus Highway in the early 2000s, whom the Boston Herald called a duo of true sophistication
Rob is currently traveling the country on a solo tour sharing music from his latest album Trust the Night". John Kumnick has played with artists such as David Bowie, Chuck Berry, Cyndi Lauper, Madonna, and more. Jake Sturdevent is a pianist and composer currently playing with the Portland Jazz Orchestra and the Opus One Big Band

Sorcha Cribben-Merrill is a singer/songwriter from Maine with a sultry, jazzy voice of unexpected power and depth of presence. Wielding acoustic guitar, electric guitar, ukulele and clawhammer banjo, she tours throughout the Northeast and beyond with her haunting ballads, charming vignettes and let-your-hair-down grooves.

transcenDance will accompany duquette with visual representation of several of the bands pieces. the dancer uses silk scarves and flowing ribbons with lyrical/modern dance choreography as well as improvisational dance. the dancer aims to assist the audience in understanding and feeling the emotional energy of the songs in a gentle visualization. the dancer, Amanda Parkhurst has been a professional dancer and choreographer since the 90s and has been re-inspired to share on the stage once again.
