Noted Italian pianist-composer, Cristiana Pegoraro, makes her Bay Area debut Saturday, March 23 at 7:30 p.m. at the Piedmont Center for the Arts following a recent performance at Carnegie Hall. She will play her "The Wind and Sea" of which the Los Angeles critics said: "It was worthy of an academy award... a melody aching with love, building to an emotional climax." Also on the program is her arrangement of the rousing opera aria "Largo al Factotum." In addition to her stage career, Ms. Pegoraro is the music director of the Narnia International Music Festival in Italy.
The Piedmont Center for the Arts is located at 801 Magnolia Ave. in Piedmont. It's handicapped accessible and street parking is available.
