All aBout Derby, Carmen Getsome and Shorty Ounce had such a great time in Michigan that Getsome Athletics is heading back to build on more skills, strategy, pack work and communication as well as leading a Jr clinic!!!
The Schedule will look like this!!
Sat
9:00 am-1:00 pm Intermediate and Advanced Skaters
2:00pm -5:00 pm Beginner Skaters
Sun
9:00 am-Noon Beginner Skaters
1:00 pm-6:00 pm Intermediate and Advanced Skaters
Monday
8:30am -12:30pm jrs clinic
Int/adv skaters should have passed WFTDA minimums and have a some scrimmage and/or bouting experience. Most people in the Int/adv class will have skated for at least 12 months
Beginner Skaters must be able to skate by themselves and have some roller derby practice experience. No scrimmage or bouting experience necessary.
This clinic will focus on buddy blocking, pack work, strategy and jammer to blocker communication.
