Main Act: Gaelynn Lea Classically trained violinist and songwriter Gaelynn Lea has been bewitching scores of fans with her haunting original songs and experimental takes on traditional fiddle music. Her work won NPR Musics 2016 Tiny Desk Contest, a competition drawing submissions of original songs from more than 6,000 musicians across the country.
Accompanied by: Mike Rufo on guitar and Elliedi DiBerardino on double bass.
Opening act: Aireene & The Itch Aireene Espiritu - Lead Vocal & Strings Espiritu is a singer/songwriter with over 20 years experience performing as a solo artist as well as with other bands covering various genres from folk, blues, gospel, rhythm and blues to world music - a mix of stompin', swayin', and timeless Americana.
Accompanied by: Brian Judd - Backup Vocal & Strings Brian has played gypsy jazz with the Hot Club of San Francisco and fronted his own eight piece rock/dance dance band on guitar over the years. His primary love is for folk, bluegrass & Americana music.
Karl Sevareid - Double Bass Karl played with Charlie Musselwhite for 15 years (legendary bluesman, Karl played with Elvin Bishop for 10 years (blues and southern rock) and then joined the Robert Cray Band for 17 years, made nine records (one Grammy award, for Take Your Shoes Off) and toured the world.
