T Sisters Concert
The T Sisters embody harmony. It's in their blood, bones and their history. Erika (the eldest sister) and twins Rachel and Chloe Tietjen have been singing and writing music together since childhood.
Their music and incredible harmonies are a perfect blend for the acoustics of our historic 105 year-old hall.
This concert will feature the three sisters and their inventive songwriting, supported by their own acoustic instrumentation. Their sound represents a continuum of music, from traditional to pop influences, moments of breath-taking a cappella to swells of energetic Indie Americana.
In the last four years, they have toured all over the United States, North Africa and the Middle East, and this concert will be the fourth time they have graced our Hall (the concerts were SOLD OUT in 2016, 2017 AND 2018).
The T's have also been honored to support such acts as Amos Lee, Todd Rundgren, The Waybacks, Laurie Lewis, ALO, Elephant Revival, The California Honeydrops, and many more. Notable performances include Merlefest, Kate Wolf Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Hardly Strictly Bluegrass (support role), Sisters Folk Festival, Strawberry Music Festival, Americana Music Association Festival, Music City Roots, and Garrison Keillor's A Prairie Home Companion.
Following their 2014 debut album Kindred Lines (produced by folk/bluegrass legend Laurie Lewis), the T Sisters released their self-titled full-length album in October of 2016, followed by Live at Telephone, an EP recorded live to tape at Tiny Telephone Studios in San Francisco, CA. They are currently working on the next album, the first part of which has been recorded in Nashville at Alex the Great Studio under the production of Oliver Wood (The Wood Brothers). The new album, titled WE ARE BOUND will be out March 2019.
This concert will be a benefit for the beautiful 105-year-old Aromas Community Grange Hall, located at the corner of Rose and Bardue Avenues in Aromas.
