Mosaic Garden Art - Upcycled Satellite Dishes

Combat the winter blues and make a beautiful piece of art for your garden! We will be upcycling satellite dishes to create bird baths or a garden sign.

Copper Cat Studio owner and lead mosaicist, Katie gives a very detailed lecture on the basics of design, assembly, materials & grouting. All materials are included and feature tesserae from Katie's personal collection -glass tile, metal tiles, rocks, glass gems, shells, marble, stone,ceramic tile, stained glass, handmade tiles and many other finds from around the country and world. Feel free to bring in pieces to add.

***When you register for this class, your $100 deposit will go towards dishes ranging from $125 to $200.*** Students can come by the studio before class and pick their shape and size and pay for the remainder. Depending on size and level of detail, this is likely a minimum of an 8 hour project. Some students spend upwards of 20+ if it is a larger dish or if they are very detailed. There is no extra charge to come back and finish your project, we never have time limits on Mosaic projects at Copper Cat Studio! This is a two day class: Saturday March 9th 10am-4pm and Sunday March 10th 11am-3pm. Students can make appointments as needed to finish their projects.

Please note our Cancellation Policy: Preregistration is required for all classes including payment in full. A full refund is available for cancellations up to 7 days before class, half refund 2-7 days before class. No refund within 48 hours of class. If there is a waiting list or you can find someone to fill your spot, we will offer a full refund.
