Doors Open at 7:30p for Cocktails and appetizers
Show starts at 8pm

A proud Howard University alum, Lauren Du Pree is a local theatre artist, writer, singer and blogger. Join her for a night of truth, discovery, healing, laughter and good music as she explores her time in Seattle juggling being a working actor and healing from a chronic illness. Dont miss this fun filled night with special guest appearances, surprises, complimentary appetizers catered by That Brown Girl Cooks and a cash bar with specialty drinks from Brown Liquor Cocktail Company at the historic Langston Hughes Performing Arts Institute.

About Lauren Du Pree:
Lauren began her career in Washington, D.C., after receiving her B.F.A. from Howard University, working at theaters like The Kennedy Center (Orphie in Orphie And The Book Of Heroes), Signature Theatre and Fords Theatre. Since moving back to her hometown, Seattle, shes been seen on stage at The 5th Avenue Theatre in The Pajama Game, Ragtime (Sarahs Friend), Holiday Inn, Man of La Mancha (Antonia) and Annie (Star-to-be) and at Village Theatre in Dreamgirls (Deena), My Heart Is the Drum (Kanika) and String (Lachesis). Lauren is an original cast member of the nationally syndicated PBS television show Biz Kid$, and she also writes and produces her own content and manages a blog on health and wellness.>
