Fast Friends for Telling Queer History
Telling Queer History is a series of storytelling gatherings that connect LGBTQ+ people across generations and identities. We are celebrating 6 years of gatherings on June 9th, 2019 and you are invited!
WHAT: Fast Friends for Telling Queer History - a Celebration and Fundraiser. Speed friending activity, storytelling, silent auction, appetizers provided by Sassy Spoon, cold-brew coffee provided by Philtera, and LGBTQ history. ASL interpreted.
WHEN: Sunday June 9, 2019 from 2-4:30pm. Doors open. Event starts promptly at 2pm
WHERE: Minnesota Opera Center - Located in the North Loop at 620 N 1st St, Minneapolis, Minnesota 55401. Bring $5 cash to use this parking lot across from the MN Opera Center or try to find free parking on the street.
WHO: The Telling Queer History team, you, your friends, and your future friends. Hosted by the Gentleman King!
HOW: Contribute to Telling Queer History gatherings by buying a ticket to Fast Friends for yourself or a LGBTQ+ friend. Tickets are $25, 50, 75, or 100
