North Olympic Peninsula Broadband Symposium
We deserve high speed internet access in our communities; join us to explore options & kickoff action groups. On March 18th & 19th you are invited to join the us as we gather community members, rural broadband experts, and local government & tribal representatives from the North Olympic Peninsula together in the same room for a vital discussion focused on getting high-speed internet access in our communities.
This is a unique opportunity to explore: * Where we are currently with infrastructure and technology gaps * Successful approaches from rural communities elsewhere * Funding & technology opportunities available to us * Strategies using resources from across the North Olympic Peninsula * How to take action in your community following the symposium
Two innovative days including (see below for detailed agenda): * Expert panels on infrastructure, funding & successful approaches * Facilitated breakout sessions focused on kicking off action groups * Access to ISP & technology consultants, rural broadband experts & action group facilitators * Meals provided with registration
Who should attend: Community members, local government officials and staff members, nonprofit organizations, business owners and managers, educators, tribal members and officials and anyone interested in better internet access. Teams from neighborhoods or communities wanting to work together are welcome & encouraged.
