Music, song writing and costume making workshops for young people
Join performance poet and artist Brigitte Aphrodite for a workshop learning song writing, creative playtime and collective skill building for the revolution! No experience necessary.
Choose from two exciting workshops:
1:30pm - 2:30pm A song / poetry / lyric writing workshop with Brigitte Aphrodite and Quite Boy. Bash stage fright and shout - or whisper - about your passions, hopes and fears. Whether you are a fully fledged music maker, or you just have an interest in making some noise, join us for a joyful, creative hour. There will be an opportunity to perform in the evening performance, for those that want to.
2:30pm - 4:30pm Be part of the Parakeet Experience, in this props and costume making workshop. We'll be making hats, birds and protest banners, featuring your hopes, dreams, slogans and provocations. The final results will be worn and exhibited in the evening performance, should you like them to be.
