Tonight's double bill features one of the hottest organ trios to come out of the Pacific Northwest and a stellar band with deep New Orleans roots.
Delvon Lamarr's disORGANized
Delvon Lamarr's disORGANized was formed in 2017 by Delvon Lamarr's wife and manager, Amy Novo of Novo Productions LLC (the same person who also formed the successful 60/70s Vintage Soul Band, Delvon Lamarr Organ Trio). The goal for the trio is to bring back music that has been lost or forgotten...and there is no better trio to make this a reality! Their originals add a nice modern flair to seduce fans from old to new, leaving them with a unique show every time.
Amy best describes disORGANized as "A blast from the past with a soulful, organic, original sound!"
disORGANized has graced the stage of venues/festivals throughout the Pacific Northwest, and has a regular residency at one of Seattle's prestigious jazz clubs, Tula's, and plans many new musical adventures throughout the United States during 2019 and beyond after tonight's New Orleans debut!

Roland Guerin Band
With a new band and a new project entitled Grass Roots, New Orleans based singer-songwriter-bassist Roland Guerin is starting a new musical chapter. Drawing from a wide spectrum of genres, including American folk, blues, zydeco, rock and jazz, Guerin creates a singular style at the heart of which are stories told through multi-layered melodies, rhythms and expressive lyrics in the range of Steely Dan, John Mayer, Sting and Peter Gabriel.
Raised in a musical family -- his father was a great lover of jazz and classical music, his mother, a blues and zydeco bass player -- Guerin began playing bass at the age of 11. Throughout his formative years, Guerin was strongly influenced by pop, rock and R&B music of the 70s and 80s. Bands and artists such as Lakeside, Dazz Band, Rush, the Brothers Johnson, Gerry Rafferty, America, and Booker T & The MG's seeded his love for great songs and inspired him to write music of his own. In addition to performing with his own band at major venues and festivals worldwide such as the Blue Note in Tokyo and the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival, Guerin has performed and toured alongside numerous legendary musicians including Alvin Batiste, John Scofield, The Blind Boys Of Alabama, Allen Toussaint and Dr. John (for whom he has been Music Director since 2017).
