A triple CD release event tonight featuring three unique and impressive acts. Field Day has become an unlikely upstart on the Boston club scene, playing rock music with scrappy hooks, dreamy harmonies, and irrepressible spirit. Music critic Zoe Madonna writes, Their riff-driven songs burst with crunchy-soulful harmonies, slightly fuzzy guitars, and boisterous heart. Old Fox draws from influences, Frightened Rabbit, Hozier, and Bon Iver to create a rhythmically exciting, melodic, and lyric driven experience for listeners. Theis is a Boston-based indie pop songwriter and multi-instrumentalist influenced by Feist, Lucius, Laure Briard, Big Thief, and St. Vincent.
