On September 6, 2008, we will be holding Are You Ready for Lyme Time 2? A tickish wonderland of some of the best drag and burlesque our fair city has to offer. Be prepare to be dazzled by the likes of our intrepid hero Randy Andy, Elsa Von Schmaltz, Heidi Von Haught and Pidgeon Von Tramp of burlesques super troupe The Von Foxies, Iva Handfull, Ultra, Spoken word craftsman Toby Langford, Z - a drag king, and the sweet sweet sting of Ms. Honeysuckle Hype. Emceeing will be the undisputed queen of quick quips, kissable lips and a bottle of scotch Maggie!
Once again this show is a fundraiser for Randy Andy who is still in the throws of battle with Chronic Lyme - one major bitch of a disease. He is unable to work and drowning in medical bills! Not to mention that whole mortgage burden We of course want to see you all at the show and relive that amazing energy and sense of community created last year!
This year we have a whole new line-up of drag, burlesque, creative stage shenanigans, super-cool raffle prizes, plus the brand new super-funky post-show dance party! Bring your party hats, your ones, fives (and whatever else youd like to stuff in Randy Andys and Elsa Von Schmaltzs thongs!). We look forward to another amazing show and another amazing audience.

Performer Bios
Randy Andy, Drag King Extraordinaire is an old hand at the drag king thing. Randy Andys specialty is taking a popular song, and twisting it into a dirty, ironic, funny shell of its former self. Add to that a sexuality and gender so fluid it defies gravity and damn you just found your favorite entertainer ever!
The Von Foxies are Seattle's hottest comedy burlesque power-trio and Miss Exotic World 2007 Best Burlesque Troupe winners! Pidgeon Von Tramp, Heidi Von Haught and Elsa Von Schmaltz have performed across the country from Boston to the Bay Area and have made a home for themselves in the burgeoning neo-burlesque community. Often told they have "cornered the market on the absurd," these kinky minxes enjoy playing with the boundaries of sexuality, gender and decency while engaging in their distinctive brand of bait 'n switch bump 'n grind.
Iva Handfull is Rock n Roll Burlesque. She is defined as contemporary, extreme energy, pop-culture, humorous, androgynous, and impersonating at times. Simplicity is not in her vocabulary.
Ultra has been listening to NPR since he was 8 years old. His dad and stepmother met when they were arrested together protesting outside of the residence of the South African consulate. He is also queer as a three dollar bill, which was obvious to his parents when he started dressing himself at age 3. He used to write elaborate plays staring my siblings, with me in all supporting roles just so he had an excuse to wear lots of outfits. Ultra is a flamboyantly gay socialist fashionista.
Toby Langford started writing with the idea that there was some shit to say that nobody else was saying. Then, he found Bent: A Queer Writing Institute and heard some stories he was longing to hear, and threw his own voice into the mix. Now, he writes because he cant stop. And he takes the stage to share because people actually listen.
Z is a drag king. A damn good one. Come Z for yourself.
Ms. Honeysuckle Hype is just your average food-obsessed 1950s Lesbian housewife: she is never full. The rhinestoned big toe revealed by her peep toes reflects the spotlight and physically blinds audiences, blurring the lines between lust and hunger, addiction and desire, sexy and revolting. She will make you cream your panties and whipped cream your nonfat latte.
Maggie is a hard drinkin' no bull-shittin' polyester rockin' emcee. She who must be obeyed = Maggie.
