Working 2020
The Actors Gym, in association with the Whitefire Theatre, present WORKING 2020. Conceived and directed by Academy Award winner Bobby Moresco (Crash, Million Dollar Baby), developed by members of the Actors Gym, and produced by Bryan Rasmussen, Bobby Moresco, and Steven Christopher Parker.
This play asks existential questions about life, suffering, meaning and seeks emotional truth. Moresco brings us into the present day of working life in America, adding new characters, and this time focusing on the sadly relevant slide from middle to working class.
This incredible story takes you on a journey to discover what it means to be part of the American working class, and has captivated audiences and critics throughout previous successful runs both in Los Angeles and NYC.
These wonderfully gifted actors have pulled-off the impossible: they make us care about the disappearing American middle class. - The Tolucan Times
This level of excellence is bravely and exhaustingly wrought and must be applauded and encouraged. Youd be a fool to miss it. - NoHo Arts District
Starring a dynamic cast of stellar actors, including such heavy hitters as: Michael Pare, Elizabeth Grullon, Tonya Cornelisse, Anne DeSalvo and many others! Each performance will also feature celebrity guest performers.
This limited engagement will sell out quickly so get your tickets now!
