The 6th Annual Fire Spectacular
The Fire Spectacular is annual flow arts event dedicated to celebrating fire dance in all of it's unique forms. Performers and groups from all over California, and as far away as Alaska, come to share their fiery creations.
The Fire Spectacular stage welcomes fire hoopers, breathers, eaters, as well as dancers, and musicians.
Daytime activities include flow arts workshops, and vending, as well as non fire performance, with live music, and fire beginning at dusk.
For our 6th Fire Spectacular, we honor all things lunar.
The event will take place at the time of the Autumn Equinox just a few days after the full moon. On this evening as the sun sets, the moon will rise and by the light of the waning moon, we will transport ourselves through time to a place with no light pollution. During this powerful transitional phase, shamanic priestesses of earth will light sacred fires to guide the way through the darkness of winter. Join us to celebrate an amazing year and to gather warmth and light for the coming months ahead.
