About the movement:

World Without Walls, Global Poetic Action by WPM
Nowadays, we can see, in different places of the Earth (America, Europe, Middle East, India) that new walls are arising which divide people. Concrete walls, walls made of barbed wire, or the more invisible but very high walls built by money and inequality.

As poets, taking part in World Poetry Movement, we stand for a world free of all discrimination between people, became of their color, the national identity, this social status, their gender or their beliefs.

Poetry is a way to make walls fall, walls between us and the walls inside ourselves.

That is why we call all the poets of the world to take part on international campaign for a world without walls, and organize everywhere in their countries, events on this issue during February of 2019.

World Poetry Movement ( (-WPM- www.wpm2011.org ) is a non-governmental, non-profit organization based in Medellin, Colombia, constituted, to date, by organizations and poets: 114 poetry festivals around the world, 96 projects of poetry, 1.178 poets of 131 nations on all continents.
