Walk through History: Historic Piermont
The Historical Society of Rockland County Invites You to Join Us for a
Walk through History in Historic Piermont From Pangaea to Paper
When: Saturday, April 27, 2019, 10 am-12:30 pm Where: Meeting location will be provided with a confirmed reservation Price: $10 per person (Space is limited, and pre-paid reservations are required)
Join Richard Esnard of the Piermont Historical Society, who will lead our walking tour first through early 19th century Bogertown and then onto Piermont's pier.
Enjoy exceptional views while learning more about this scenic village from prehistory to the 20th century. Topics include geological history, early Dutch inhabitants, railroads, World War II, and industry.
This two-mile walk is expected to take 2.5 hours and is rated at moderate difficulty. It is not suitable for children under age seven. The following additional equipment is required: water, hat, walking stick, sturdy walking shoes.

Cancellation policy: Space on this walking tour is limited for safety. Registrations are confirmed on a first come, first served basis. Refunds will be given only if space can be filled by another guest prior to the walk. A waiting list will be compiled, and available spaces will be filled on a first come, first served basis. Only those who have made full payment will be accommodated.
