Jami Sieber and Charlie Murphy in Concert
For 15 years Jami and Charlie performed together and led their popular NW band "Rumors of the Big Wave". The two of them are coming together for a special reunion show on Whidbey Island.
Electric cellist and vocalist Jami Sieber reaches inside the soul with compositions that are contemporary, timeless, lush, and powerfully evocative. Her style of performance has been recognized internationally. Her music transforms from the deepest stillness to moving melodies and rhythms that light the soul on fire. This summer she celebrates the release of her new recording "Timeless".
Award-winning songwriter and vocalist Charlie Murphy is known for his poetry and commitment to social justice, love, and the environmental movement. After co-leading Rumors of the Big Wave, Charlie co-founded an arts-based empowerment program that inspires thousands of young people around the world to create change in their communities.
This special event is the first time that they are coming back together in nearly 20 years. Don't miss this special event.
"Lady Dancehall" was originally built by the Clinton community in 1909 and was known as Ingleside Hall. It was built to host such soiree's in the community and now the tradition is being continued by the current owners Amy Wheeler and Kate Buzard. Light refreshments will be provided. BYOB.
