AIAOC Lunch Program- Paint Specification and the Effect of Green Building
Course Description:
Attendees will learn about the history of the Green Movement and the impact of VOC restrictions on the environment, how it affects the occupants of new buildings.
Learning Objectives:
Learn how VOC criteria can contribute to green building Understand what governs the classification of paint as green
Receive an overview of LEED and the credits affected by paint
Learn about the design and specification considerations involved with green paint
Understand the relationship between LEED and other third-party organizations (MPI)
