Hollywood Heritage and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Present: Between Two Worlds - The Lives of Anna May Wong & Marion E. Wong
On Wednesday, March 13th at 7:30PM, Hollywood Heritage and the Hollywood Foreign Press Association Present: Between Two Worlds - The Lives of Anna May Wong & Marion E. Wong.
In celebration of Women's History Month, we will explore how Chinese-American film pioneers Anna May Wong and Marion E. Wong overcame cultural and industrial prejudices to achieve remarkable success in the motion picture industry. The evening will include excerpts from two documentaries: "To Climb a Gold Mountain" and "The Curse of Quon Gwon."
We will also be selling tickets to our famous $1 raffle which will feature a fabulous assortment of prizes. Doors open at 7:00PM and there is no late seating, so please try to arrive on time. Plus caterer Debbie Kimball will be selling a delicious selection of food items before the show... so come hungry! Thank you for supporting Hollywood Heritage!
