Marina Crouse is an emerging vocalist in the San Francisco Bay Area blues and jazz scene. Her early classical training is evident in a powerful, riveting style that pays homage to the songs she loves while making them wholly her own. Marina has performed locally with Garth Webber, Tony "Macaroni" Lufrano, S.E. Willis & the Willing, Ruth Davies Blue's Thing, Nancy Wright and the Rhythm & Roots Band, Pamela Rose, Tammy Hall, Danny Caron & the Good Hands Trio, Jeff Massanari and others. In July she spent an entire month in New Orleans performing with the Danny Alexander Blues Band.
Garth Webber is a Berkeley-based guitarist/singer, known internationally for his signature tone, who has played with Miles Davis, Gregg Allman, Bill Champlin, Mose Alison, Robben Ford, Boz Skaggs, Merl Saunders, Bob Weir, Doctor John and others. His style is a mix of blues, jazz and rock. He has three Solo CD projects out and has played on many recordings for Bay Area artists. His style is modern but with a foundation in traditional blues.
Tony 'Macaroni' Lufrano earned his bona fides early in his career on coast-to-coast tours with The Whispers. Since then, Tony has gigged and recorded with a cavalcade of stars, including Boz Scaggs, Bonnie Raitt, Huey Lewis & The News, Elvin Bishop, Maria Muldaur, Robben Ford, Taj Mahal, Tommy Castro, Bill Champlin, Steve Miller, Joe Satriani, Carla Thomas, James Cotton, Bernard Purdie, Sugar Pie DeSanto, Linda Tillery, Eddie Money, Harvey Mandel, John Handy, Zigaboo Modeliste, Little Anthony & The Imperials, Earl King, Ernie K-Doe, and many more. The last two years, Tony has toured with Frank Bey & the Anthony Paule Band.
Ted "Blyss" Gould is a bassist and music educator originally from New Orleans whose credits include working with Rock and Roll Hall of Fame nominee Zigaboo Modeliste of the Meters, American Idol finalist Latoya London, Will Russ and the Force of Will Band, Jon B. and a host of Broadway scale musical theater productions including West Side Story, CATS, Dream Girls, Cabaret and Hairspray.
D'Mar is more than a drummer- he is a TRUE showman. Highly sought after for his live performances, D'mar has played drums professionally for more than twenty years. He has toured with Little Richard for the last sixteen years. He has also worked with Dorothy Moore, Chuck Berry, Dennis Lasalle, Bobby Rush, Tu Tu Jones, Hubert Summlin, Honeyboy Edwards, The Williams Brothers, Jody Williams, Muzz Skillings, Big Jack Johnson, Eddie Cotton, Gary Brown , Henry Butler, Maria Muldaur & Mark Hummel, to name a few.
Johnnie Bamont: A San Francisco native, musician and surfer, plays soprano, alto, tenor, baritone saxes and flute. Johnnie is a member of Huey Lewis and the News, and is also an original member of Greg Adams (former arranger and trumpet player with The Tower of Power) "East Bay Soul. Johnnie has performed and toured with numerous artists including Boz Scaggs, Cheryl Crow, Dr. John, Larry Carlton, Diane Schuur, Sly & the Family Stone,Tower of Power, Lydia Pence & Cold Blood, and Bill Champlains the Sons of Champlin to name a few.
