'Thirsty' Film Screening Starring Thirsty Burlington
The musical biopic Thirsty tells the story of Scott Townsend, who turns to the world of drag as a safe respite from his bullied upbringing in the Cambridge, MA projects, eventually becoming Thirsty Burlington, Provincetowns beloved ALL-LIVE Cher impersonator. Within a dynamic, non-linear structure, the film visits significant events in Scott/Thirstys life, spanning the 1970s to the present, to illuminate the dangers and the joys of living his unique and challenging life. Culminating on an upbeat note, Thirstys message champions acceptance, outside and in. One screening only with a personal appearance by Thirsty Burlington. Tickets available now at our box office.
