The unofficial CD release for David Champagne's newest project Agnostic Gospel. CD's and Hymnals will be available. The project features the songs of David Champagne, all with some spiritual or moral lyrical commentary - but musically akin to Staple Singers, Louvin Brothers and the like. An incredible cast of singers including DAVID CHAMPAGNE, AMY CORREIA, DIETRICH STRAUSE, RAMONA SILVER, KATIE CHAMPAGNE, DINTY CHILD, SAM BIGELOW join a band that includes KIMON KIRK, BILLY BEARD, BEN KEYES and MORE!
If Suzie Brown had an anthem, it'd have to be the twangy "Heartstrings," off her same-named debut. A string-soaked ode to unrequited love, the debut single delicately marked her transition from Harvard-educated cardiologist to singer-songwriter, now musing on matters of the heart. In the four years since making good on her extracurricular activity, she's been named the Best of Philly (by Philadelphia magazine) and opened for such kindred spirits as Lyle Lovett. And if her name doesn't ring a bell, her first single will: Picked up by the Play Network, "Heartstrings" can currently be heard soulfully wafting through stores nationwide. This year Suzie recorded her third studio release with Americana great Oliver Wood (Wood Brothers) at the producer's helm. The album is set for an October release.
