Formed in the summer of 2018 in Wilmington, NC, The Caroliners have thrust themselves into the music scene with a sound similar to that of southern rock and folk rock bands of the 1960s and 70s. The songwriting of Mark Jackson blends seamlessly with the talents of Matt Rushin (lead guitar), Sean Potter (Drums & Percussion), and Conrad Junior (Bass). After playing a number of shows in Wilmington and surrounding areas over the course of a few months, the group headed into Hourglass Studios to record their debut single Handcuffed which released in late August. The Caroliners will continue playing live shows as they record an EP to be released in early 2019.
