Fun, charming, and engaging- as always! Erin McKeown doesnt like labels or categories. But I think its safe to say shes a muscian, a playwright, an activist, a genre-bending folk singer/songwriter with a strong independent streak. She tours with the likes of Ani DiFranco, Josh Ritter, and the Indigo Girls. Shes a former fellow at Harvards Berkman Center for Internet and Society, where she worked to combined the worlds of policy, art, and technology. Shes deeply involved in social justice, and immigration issues. Her latest project is a musical she wrote, titled Miss You Like Hell.

A gifted singer/songwriter with a deft touch on the guitar, mandolin, piano and banjo, Erin McKeown calls herself a mix between Django Reinhardt and G. Love. But even that description only scratches the surface of her musics sly lyrics and rip-roaring swing. David Dye, World Cafe, NPR
