Eleanor Reissa is a Tony Awardnominated director, international concert artist, award-winning playwright, and Broadway actor. Fluent in two languages, English and Yiddish, she has lived a life in the theater for over thirty years, in nearly every entertainment medium and in many parts of the world. A Brooklyn-born daughter of Holocaust survivors, Eleanor is one of the premier Yiddish vocalists in the world. She recently directed and starred in the original production From Shtetl to Stage at Carnegie Hall, which she co-created with Yidstock artistic director Seth Rogovoy, who will discuss all this and more in conversation with Eleanor.
